Health benefits of papain (Derived from papaya)

Papaya is rich in vitamins A, C, and E, as well as folate, potassium, and dietary fiber.

Papaya also contains a chemical called carpain, which is used to kill certain parasites.

Unripe papaya fruit contains high levels of the proteolytic enzyme known as papain. Proteolytic enzymes have been used extensively in both the surgical and medical fields as an anti-inflammatory agent.

Papain has a following special medicinal properties that can help improve the body’s overall health:
