Quercetin: Health promoting benefits

Fruits and vegetables are the primary dietary sources of quercetin, particularly citrus fruits, apples, onions, parsley, sage, broccoli, cabbage, tea, red wine, olive oil, grapes, dark cherries, blueberries and blackberries are high in quercetin and other flavonoids. Capers are the richest food source of quercetin per gram.

Quercetin has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects.
Quercetin can also help stabilize the cells that release histamine in the body and thereby have an anti-inflammatory and antihistamine effect.

Indications of quercetin in following diseases:
